Born to Gaia & Finn.
Hand-raised by a team of heroes.
Cameron Park Zoo welcomed its first-ever black-footed cat kitten — a milestone for a species so rare there are fewer than thirty in zoos across the entire United States.
When first-time mom Gaia didn't show maternal behaviors, the zoo's Bird & Small Mammal team stepped in. The kitten is now hand-reared around the clock by zoo staff and veterinarians — growing stronger every single day.
